I remember seeing this album in stores and then it reappeared without the flames- outof respect to the lost members. Decades later the original cover was released.

48 years ago, #StreetSurvivors was released. This is the 5th #LynyrdSkynyrd album released and the last with most of the original lineup as half of the band was killed in a plane crash about a week later.
I picked up my copy of Street Survivors on this day in 1977 at Camelot Music at Berkeley Mall in Goldsboro. It hadn’t been put in the racks yet so they had to cut open a shipping box behind the counter to get my copy.
