No. I spoke his name and others for those who couldn't be there, just as I have done for the past 5 years. Knowing it means so much to my friends, my husband and I make sure we also honor their family members interred at Arlington when they can't make the ceremony themselves. A bag of artificial flowers that I picked up from my campsite at Spring Gap Campground. They were strewn across the campground.

Me at mile marker 74 on the C&O Canal Towpath, along with a bag of trash I'd picked up over the 4+ miles from Antietam Creek Campground. Most of the trash was dog poop bags people had left along the towpath. I mean, I guess I'm glad they scooped the poop, but they need to #PackItOut if they are really going to #LeaveNoTrace.
