There is a sharp contrast between this approach to subtitling (a named subtitler taking pride in their work) and what I saw in the version of the film released in the UK, with no named subtitler and shoddy subtitles, often difficult to follow and with repeated typos. #SubtitlersintheCredits
#SubtitlersInTheCredits are an author's right, but also an audience right: they deserve to know when the content they enjoy is crafted by humans.
It's my last day at this year's edition of the IFFR and we still have two candidates for the (actually not that fun) game of "say, who subtitled this film?"
