Suizenji's little Mount Fuji, which now looks like a remarkably pointy mound without its decorations. It is set against a bright blue sky, making it seem a little lonely, with only the two small shrubs sprouting in its surface to keep it company. In the far distance twoor three modern towers stand above the treeline.

We visited #Suizenji Jōjen, also in #Kumamoto, and it is very beautiful. One imagines how it must have looked in it's own era, filled with expensive plants.
