Not a year-in-review per se, but here are some of my favorite pieces from 2025. A fake Japanese style advertisement for fictional star shaped watermelons. The brand name at the top is "PhiFruits" followed by a circular flower. The Japaneses text reads "Star Watermelon" or hoshi suika" and "Supreme Bliss of Heaven" or "tengoku no shifuku". Four star watermelons are presented under the Japanese text one showing a quarter cutout to show the pink and seeded inside of the melon. The price is 7,900 Japenese Yen. Under that is an AKI brand marker a parody of the OK Market Japanese superstore. The background is a slightly overcast sky with an ever stretching teal blue ocean reaching far into the skyline. The character presented is holding a slice of watermelon up in front of her smiling. She is wearing a blue swimsuit, has dark chin length hair with two hair clips in her bangs, has short elf ears, purple eyes, and a red triangle facing down on her forehead.

Summer is not over yet. Enjoy it, with Star Melon!
Cheaper than the cube shaped competitors melons!
