I can say with ease that winter is my least favorite time of year. A season of slowed energy, diminished color, a yearning for warmth. Cold seems to permeate everything, the drab days bleeding one into another until weeks have blurred by, living in greyscale. But I take solace in the things I value: a good meal, a good tune, my cats, my wife’s embrace or just a brushing of our hands. When the light outside is bleached and bleak, I strive to remember that there’s always light inside. So with a bit of that subtle warmth, here's some more (US) morning mellow.
