Shot from above, the leaves of the Echeveria pulidonis succulent radiate out, with pink tips at each end.
A young Mammillaria Elongata cactus shot from above. Its symmetry is exquisite, with its spines interlaced forming a stunning pattern and lending it an eerie inner glow.
A Monarch butterfly sits atop some kind of Chrysanthemum, possibly the 'Exopolis' sub-variety. Shot this while staying with friends in NY. The wings of the Monarch look like stained glass with yellow, orange and white panels in between black structures that are dotted white around the edges. The butterfly's body is black and also covered in white dots.

I've seen owls, bats, kestrels and kites since moving back to the north but I never thought I'd see peacocks on my way up to the moors. There are three in this shot. One has a blue head and neck, with turquoise feathers. More turquoise feathers can be seen behind it from a second peacock, and almost hidden in the background is a white and brown one.
An Orange Tip butterfly. It has a dark blue body and wings that are white and blue with orange tips at the end of each. It's resting on a stinging nettle because it's as hard as nails.

I need to wash up and drink beer. It's getting late and I have an early start tomorrow as I lost today to photo editing. Almost 1,000 shots from a 6km walk yesterday.

This is Saxifraga, aka, London Pride. Canโt think why it would be called after prideโฆ ๐คฃ Basically, it looks like a pink penis thatโs surrounded by five white petals that are each patterned with pink spots. There are also around six stamen ending with red tips.
A group of dicks. The one on the bottom right has a pair of balls dangling from it. Well, kind of. They're more flowers coming into bud.
A close up macro shot of Sedum Album, aka, the white stonecrop as it will eventually produce white flowers. Right now, it looks like it's been smoking DMT for quite some time as its tiny leaves look more like beans covered in pink, green and red patterns. So much detail in such a tiny plant that's growing out of a wall.

This could be White Flower Ammi Majus according to google, but I wouldn't put too much faith in that as it insists that this is a picture of a bug. There's a tiny fly in the top left corner of this picture of springtime blossom. Pink buds are opening into white flowers with yellow middles. It's a riot of chintz.
A macro close-up of some moss that's growing in one of the many woods I've explored around Hebden Bridge. This is either Polytrichum moss or Bank Haircap moss. Again, google can't make its mind up as they're very similar. But each little plant looks like a firework in green. There's a forest above, and one below.
A macro shot of a flowering wild carrot. There are small flowers clustered in flat, dense umbels. The flowers in the middle are white, and those around the umbel itself are pink. It's another miniature fractal masterpiece!
