An old tram painted entirely grey, set on its rear end in a patch of grass, as a sculpture, I guess. You can see all of its underside.
A little late, but it still may be Sunday somewhere on the planet…? #SundayPixRailway #SundayPix #Melbourne3000

#SundayPix #SundayPixRailway A Monorail at Nant Mawr. Tanat Valley light railway.
This was January 2021. We’d had quite a bit of rain. The disused railway line & station. Even at 16, being a Spaniel meant Bob wasn’t bothered by the water & expected me to follow him. #SundayPix #SundayPixRailway

A road, river, and railway track with the mountainside rising up around them.
Glenwood Springs where everything has to follow the valley.

A small section of table in a railway carriage, with a sliver of green-brown blur just visible through a strip of window. The table holds a bottle of pepsi, a railway ticket, and two wide pink old fashioned roses with their stems carefully wrapped in foil.
And, apparently on this day eight years ago, taking some roses to drop off at Granny's grave, in passing. They were not roses that travelled well, but they just about made it.

A summertime view along a canal that runs through a wide, deep cutting. Two bridges cross it. The nearest is the broad, almost flat iron span of Telford's Galton Bridge (built for the road but closed to traffic for decades), disappearing into the trees without apparent support. The second is the brick arch of a railway bridge, both piers almost visible amongst the greenery.
I forgot to post this for infrastructure a couple of weeks back, so it can be #SundayPixRailway even though Galton Bridge station is the least interesting part of it.
A railway line disappearing under Sheldon Bridge in Teignmouth. Above the line is an old Toll House that I used to own. There is snow on the bridge, house, garden and railway lines.
The same Toll House, but in summer. A dark green GWR train is passing along the line.
Harry at Wirksworth Heritage Line station. He is holding a certificate to show he’s just driven a train.
Bromsgrove Model Train Society’s exhibition stand, showing a number of model trains.

Photograph of a full-sized Thomas the tank engine steam train, at the platform at Llangollen or at least somewhere on that line
I have a number of pictures of trains, this is the best! Probably at Llangollen #SundayPixRailway
A well made footpath, perhaps six feet wide, curves away out of sight between steep banks and woodland. The path is deeply shadowed but the trees are brightly sunlit
I was thinking I hadn't been near a #SundayPixRailway in ages, but then, there's this (though only the track's dedication to maintaining a steady elevation in the face of local conditions makes this obvious - it's slightly sinuous and surprisingly narrow)
View of the Tamar Bridge from the train, approaching from the Cornish side. #SundayPixRailway
I forget which station I was in here. Fine architecture, whichever London terminal it is.
