#SundayPixSounds there is no sound sweeter than a just asleep baby
A clock shaped like a four sided outsize grandfather clock powered by steam.
I've been missing in action but here is the steam clock in Vancouver #SundayPixSounds
Dread to think what sound this battered, rejected piano makes... left out on the street for months!

Following @justjim.bsky.social’s piano. My, 1920 (I think) AB copy of moonlight. I could play the adagio, just. The Presto (which is open) I badly tried to read and write out. Incorrectly.
Because it was always a little beyond me #SundayPixSounds

A black and white version of a shot of the railway line at Muir of Ord station, looking southwest. The dual lines at the two platforms merge in to single line and then pass under a narrow bridge. The sounds element of the image comes when trains decelerate into this station. I live a wee bit up the hill, and that noise gives me a strong sense of comfort when I hear it - whether I’m upstairs by an open window, or outside working in the garden.

Brass band march through Northern mill town
Why yes, I am Northern. What gave it away?
#SundayPixSounds
A cicada stretching out of its previous shell.
The same cicada, relaxing and drying its wings after emerging from its previous shell.
Ok, stand by.
Are we ready?
Here it comes!
#SundayPixSounds
Actually I suffer, and I use that term advisedly, from tinnitus due to my military service, so I know how this cicada is going to sound already. And for ever!
Ten separate pieces (five rashers cut in half) of back bacon sizzling in a frying pan on the Aga.

A woman in a red dress is trying to catch a white balloon in a church building filled with large white balloons. “Everything Is Going To Be Alright”. Artist Martin Creed filled half the air in an old church in Camden with white balloons. It was very odd to walk among them, and shockingly loud when one occasionally burst.
#SundayPixSounds
Bit of art. Yes, one did burst
Bunch of mostly green with black faces and black-banded caterpillars on some oak leaves. They are quite hairy looking, in a spikey sort of way.
#SundayPixSounds, I could hear these munching on leaves, and they were so loud! Unfortunately, by the time I came to film them, they were in a silent post-food coma
