Part of our Sunday adventures is a country walk with Orinoco The Dog. Along the Hogsmill we often see a kingfisher, but today he must have been out shopping. Beautiful herons, carp, bees, blossom, robins and ducks though.

Today's Sunday has been mostly about mending my son's much-loved hand painted plate that broke when he had a pain flare while holding it. It will never be perfect, as too much of the painted surface crumbled at the edges, but at least it's back on one piece.

Behold my orchids having their Sunday soak. All the outer pots are filled with water, left for an hour with murmurs of encouragement, then poured away. The retained moisture then lasts the orchids until next Sunday. 🌱 #SundayPixSunday

The knuckle of the lamb leg, separated from its lower bone. More importantly, my Furi paring knife showing that it has somehow lost its point. This didn't happen while cutting out the knuckle, so I wonder if I hit bone when I was piercing the meat to insert garlic cloves?
1) Happy with that. Pink lamb and purple shiraz. Ignore the maple syrup, that was for something else.
2) NOT happy with that. I would be very interested to know where that little shard of steel has gone.
