A tall cairn fills most of the right half of the frame, mostly plastered in crystals of rime-ice. Snow and more ice cover the foreground with a few exposed bits of yellow-gray rock. More rugged snowy hills roll away into the distance under a part cloudy part blue sky.
Another favourite image from my 30+ year photographic career. Continuing with UK landscape, this is the summit of Swirl How in the Coniston Fells of the Lake District.
