INPACT is trying to centralize documents left behind by #SyAA and Russian forces during their retreat in #Syria. They've been doing crucial work regarding Russia's secret ways of war, help them out if you can.
#SyAA
#Homs : the battle for the city is almost over. #SyAA forces are withdrawing, and remaining Hezbollah fighters - the only exterior group still participating in combats through Fatemiyoun and Zainebiyoun - are pulling out toward the border. #HTS is combing the city.
#SyAA sources confirm the order of withdrawal from Homs (apparently toward the west) as #HTS claims to be entering the northern neighborhoods.
New front : as the situation south of #Damascus is escalating, I started mapping what is known so far. Early this morning, #SyAA retreated from key positions including Daraa. Local rebel cells became active again after the fall of Hama and are harassing and capturing positions.
Updated map north of #Homs (red = new) : villages are captured around the M5, no fight is reported so far. It seems #SyAA completely deserted everything north of Homs.
Update to the best of my abilities, as information gets less clear with #HTS in pursuit of a retreating #SyAA :
- Hama, al Abidin and Qomhane fully cleared
- Salamiyah captured without a fight (cleared road to it speculative on my end)
Expect massive capture tomorrow.
#HTS claims control over Qomhane, the "northern lock" protecting #Hama, a formidable stronghold. Around Hama, only Zein Al-Abidin mountain remains possibly under #SyAA control.
#HTS is claiming to be at the gates of Salamiyah, while #SyAA sources claim loyalists are retreating from the area. Below is shown the last published captures around the city.
#Hama : #SyAA source confirmed there are still SyAA soldiers trapped in Qomhane and abal Zein Al-Abidin. Expecting MASSIVE amount of equipment once this pocket is cleared.
Update on #Hama front :
- Based on context, I assume #HTS retreated from the Kafraa hill (yellow pin)
- HTS claims the capture of Shiraaya (red, left) and the HQ of the 66th brigade (red, right)
Fights in Hama itself are still going. #SyAA resistance is definitely fierce.
The #SyAA counter offensive toward Ariz failed to achieve significant success.
#Hama airport is under severe artillery fire and likely out of commission. Situation is deteriorating quickly for #SyAA forces inside Hama and Qomhane, and will become untenable.
#Hama : #SyAA sources announce el Shiyah and Ariz (red pins) have been captured by #HTS. There is no more obstacles for HTS to Hama on the east and the west side.
North east #Hama : #HTS claims the capture of several new villages after clashes with #SyAA. It seems they chose to capture the countryside around the town rather than try another frontal attack today.
#HTS is putting pressure in the al Ghab plain, north west of #Hama (red = new) :
- combat ongoing around Braideej (green pin, right)
- clean up and capture of towns abandoned by #SyAA during the night, including the airfield (not military) near Jamasat Udayat (red pin, middle)
#HTS claims control over Tiba Elturki (red, right), town of the mecanised infantry school captured earlier, while #SyAA announces it has lost control over Jabal Zayn al-Abidin (red, left), mountain that overlooks both #Hama and Qomhane, in which loyalist troops keep fighting.
#HTS claims control over the villages of Abu Mansaf, Fan Wastanee and Madba'ah (red) after clashes with #SyAA in north-west #Hama countryside.
#SyAA has reestablished a defensive system in the area.
Heavy clashes around Jabal Zayn al-Abidin (5km away from #Hama), the first in several hours, amid reports of evacuation by both russians and #SyAA of the Hama airport.

On the road between Suran and Qomhane. Considering both are controlled by #HTS now, this photo indeed show #SyAA fleeing.
Numerous reports that #SyAA is already leaving #Hama. At the speed at which progress is made, I am confident the city will be reached before the day ends, and if it's really empty, captured as well.
Progress is accelerating for the 3rd day in a row, with SyAA routed en masse.
#SyAA troops are retreating from #Saraqib, under fire but in a somewhat organised fashion. I expect those troops to regroup with Aleppo ones and reorganise, this is not a complete rout.
Meanwhile, #TFSA / #SNA (turkish backed rebels) are gearing up to action in north east Aleppo near Al Bab (green), with the potential objective of routing #SyAA from Tall Rifat (yellow). Numerous sources tell that the russian contingent of Tall Rifat is already moving.
A new tank has been claimed as captured by #HTS from #SyAA. This one is a bit special though :
- it features a Sarab-2 APS
- it is a prototype to the few T-72 "Adra/Mahmia", a syrian modernization program that reached very few vehicles, called T-72 Shafrah
