The 4 crew members died, including the 2 pilots (Colonels).

Mig-29 pilot, he assumed command of several squadrons & was Chief of Staff of the 20th Air Division in Dumayr Airbase.

He became #SyAF Chief of Staff in 2021.

From Salkhad, Adnan Farhan was the commander of a squadron of fighter jets before retiring in 2016.

He was killed with his wife.

- joined Rebels in E. Ghouta & operated the OSA - most sophisticated Air def. system Rebels captured - and downed #SyAF choppers.

- wounded in Russian raid which killed Jaish Islam leader.

- now 1st to operate... an IL-76 of the new Syrian Air force.

#Syria: the #SyAF pilot (and Colonel) who carried out the last airstrikes on the town of Darat Izza (W. #Aleppo), bombing a market as a revenge against civilians for the newly launched Rebel offensive, has been captured.

It happened on 28th November 2024.

4 civilians were killed and 21 wounded.
