How did a raccoon knock out power for large swaths of downtown Toronto last night? A raccoon was behind the massive power outage that knocked out electricity to some 7,000 customers in downtown Toronto for hours Thursday night.

Tropical Cyclone #TCKirrily knocked out power to 60,000 homes last week; for reference, if you’re in #Canada, that puts it at about 8.5 raccoons.

Kind of made it through Tropical Cyclone #TCkirrily. No damage or injury, but lost power at 8pm Thursday and the grid damage appears to be as messy as the contents of my freezer 😞

Not much rain either, so it’s now hot, muggy, and I have no fans or A/C. Still, #FirstWorldProblems, I guess.

My sister was in the eye of #TCKirrily on #MagneticIsland. They dodged a bullet though. It wasn't as severe as everyone was expecting and were prepared for. As in, everyone on the island was battened down. They're all in bed asleep now lolz.
