Catgut, in his advanced form...in the weird Adderall-induced "Beast Wars: Game of Thrones" AU popping up in my brain, this is the version of him that is "Princess Arachnia's" mute bodyguard and pet murderer when she's "all grown up." He is loyal unto death to her and the Spider Throne, in THAT order unflinchingly, and doesn't particularly like the growing connection between his Mistress and Prince Rex of the Avarians despite their alliance against the Insecticon Horde, but his urge to carve the young falcon into Thanksgiving dinner is starting to abate a little. Just a little.

Catgut's beast mode...I kinda sucked at the tiger stripes, I admit, but it turned out WAY better than it probably has any logical right to.

"Advanced" Catgut standing next to my previous version of him...opinions may vary on the two of them, but I am legitimately proud of how BOTH turned out.

My two Catgut customs in their beast modes, side by side...the original orange color of the Action Master partner figure looks much better on the organic beast mode than the mechanical one, so I went with a sorta brassy gold for that one instead. Turned out to be a good call IMHO, so I used it for the "armored" robot parts on the new figure.

And last but not least, Catgut, in his Beast Wars upgraded form...we all have our personal Glup Shittos in the TF fandom, Catgut is mine. For contrast, I also included comparison shots of my previous version, too.

Wolfspider of the Maximals, the offspring of Blackarachnia and Silverbolt, 3H's "Universe War" comic be damned...because if ANY Transformers were gonna have canonical offspring, accidental OR on purpose it's those two. This was a salvage job from last week, replacing parts of my Gold Plastic Syndrome-afflicted Legends Blackarachnia with parts from her Transformers Animated predecessor. I did a little painting to make her a little less just "TFA BA with Legends BA's tits," and ended up putting her in fucking stirrups...fuck it, if anyone can be gratuitously sexy without the fandom exploding, its Blackarachnia and her daughter.

Wolfspider's beast mode...noticed a couple of spots I missed, so I might be taking her back to the workbench.

My first sympathetic Decepticon OC, splatterpunk graffitti artist/mechanic Flipjack...yeah, her original name was "Flapjack" but I thought this sounded better (although seeing it written out, now I'm not as certain...). A Headmaster in the Japanese style, and self-titled owner of "the Worst Alt-Mode Ever Made," she is secretly what I've been referring to as a "Master Type," able to swap transtector bodies at will, as well as swap others'...in the "Born to Run" AU she keeps this ability hidden from all but her bestie Overboard and her new ally, Cancer (formerly of the Decepticon Juniors in "Masterforce" anime, and protagonist of "Born to Run"), using this power and her talent for fine-tuning vehicle modes to peak performance to help him win the Chaar Grand Prix. She's supposed to look paint-splattered, but it almost looks like just me being lazy...ah, well.

Flipjack standing in front of her transtector's beast mode...I call it a "crab rab-bat" in lieu of anything that might make less sense. She stays with it both out of sentimental attachment and because it provides the perfect cover for her "Master Type" abilities...cuz if she's ACTUALLY able to swap transtectors at will, why in the Null would she stick with THIS one?
