The Vatican City museum contains many sculptures and mosaics. This mosaic in a plain black rectangular frame is hanging on a plain yellow painted wall. It is in the ratio of 1 wide to 3 high, and is possibly 45-60cm wide or so. There are many tiles in gold through the middle of the scene as background. A dark-skinned man, dressed in blue leggings with predominantly red shoes & red long-sleeved coat with blue and yellow decor, is carrying (in his arms at waist height) a large complete grey fish with dark grey patches along its skin. There appears to be the edge of a figure on either side of the man suggesting a row of people was originally depicted together. This man also wears a head hair covering in red, to the top, but he has black hair visible on his forehead. His head appears slightly small in relation to his height.
