BERBERIAN SOUND STUDIO opens today at the @tiff_net Bell Lightbox! Here are my thoughts on the film from #TIFF12.
Here is my #TIFF12 review of @IDeclareWarFilm, which is opening this week at the @tiff_net Bell Lightbox.
My number two favourite film from #TIFF12, I DECLARE WAR, will be opening at the Bell Lightbox on May 10. I recommend checking it out.
Despite the cramped quarters, I wasted no time in ordering a ticket to the film, which I was disappointed not to see at #TIFF12
Looks like a #TIFF12 favourite of mine is coming to the Lightbox @ TIFF Bell Lightbox

Okay, more #TIFF12 highlights: Processing scene, THE MASTER; Carax homage, FRANCES HA; Psychopath #2 story, SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS.
Done with #TIFF12. Highlights: Bardem's final bit in TO THE WONDER; "Look at all my shit" in SPRING BREAKERS; opening, POST TENEBRAS LUX.
“Your memories are not invited.” My longish review of THE MASTER, which was my favorite #TIFF12 film by some distance. http://www.avclub.com/articles/the-master,84866/
Last day at #TIFF12 was my best. Thoughts on Malick, Whedon, Mungiu, Zombie. (Also: @NoelMu greatness) www.avclub.com/articles/day-seven-our-l...
So many spectacular images and scenes from this festival yet my main takeaway: "Look at all my shit!" You win this round, Korine. #TIFF12
#TIFF12 Top Five: 1. THE MASTER 2. BEYOND THE HILLS 3. TO THE WONDER 4. AMOUR 5. POST TENEBRAS LUX. Two from today, my last here. Not bad.
BEYOND THE HILLS (Mungiu, A-) Follow-up to the great 4 MONTHS, 3 WEEKS, etc. delves into monastery crisis with same gnawing tension. #TIFF12
At MUCH ADO P&I screening, guy in front of me looked at his cell phone, then his iPad, then walked out. (Was his laptop next?) #TIFF12
THE LORDS OF SALEM (Zombie, B) Satan-worship hokum redeemed by rich '70s horror vibe. Manna for Zombie auteurists. Velvets FTW. #TIFF12
MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Whedon, B+) The Whedon Company's grip-it-and-rip-it Shakespeare has its awkwardnesses, but squeeeee!!! #TIFF12
Huge final day at #TIFF12: Catching up with Terrence Malick, Joss Whedon and Rob freakin’ Zombie.
Suggestion for #TIFF12 smartphone issue: A volunteer with a bucket of water. Boom. Problem solved. #AModestProposal
Disappointed the #TIFF12 brass has done nothing about the smartphone problem. Did they not get my letter? It was eloquent and persuasive!
The smartphone problem is reaching that tipping point where people think *you're* the rude one for asking them to turn it off. #TIFF12
Just posted: #TIFF12 Day Five. @NoelMu and I on SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS (woo!), Spike Lee's BAD 25, ABCs OF DEATH, more. www.avclub.com/articles/day-five-at-tif...
THE ABCs OF DEATH (Various, C+) Standouts: Wingard (Q), Forzani/Cattet (O), Gens (X). High % of ironic/jokey piffle. Fun overall. #TIFF12
THE ICEMAN (Vromen, C+) You wouldn't think a gangster film about a contract killer who murdered over 100 men could be dull, but... #TIFF12
According to the few pictures of Hugh Laurie at #TIFF12, he has apparently improved his choice of tie. Not perfect yet but soon…hopefully.
RT @toronto_life #TIFF12: At the Argo presser @BenAffleck reveals the secret to faking Canadian http://lif.to/PUap9o / A great flick: go see
THE COMPANY YOU KEEP (Redford, C) Reflection on anti-war radicalism via sleepy journalistic procedural. I’ve underrated the Assayas. #TIFF12
Why do we need the Christie Digital Projector ad at #TIFF12? Film projectors are never this boastful. #humble
Our Day Three post on #TIFF12 is up: Thoughts on CLOUD ATLAS, THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES and FRANCES HA. www.avclub.com/articles/on-tiff-day-3-t...
FRANCES HA (Baumbach, A-) Noah Baumbach is good at writing. (Though where's all the jerkiness? You think you know a guy.) #TIFF12
THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES (Cianfrance, C+) The tragic legacies of two families involves far too much contrivance in the linking. #TIFF12
