I really like that Avar was brought back into the novels but I’ve said since EoD that I didn’t love how Elzar-centric her story had gotten, especially since Elzar got to maintain an internality of his own.

I feel like Avar’s scene where she falls to the Nameless in Tempest Breaker is supposed to be an analogue Elzar’s moment seeing visions of Stellan and Orla, but I almost feel like she should have gotten that in the final novel as well

It really left Avar’s only relationship in that novel being with Elzar (despite Terec being on the mission also but anyway), and since those two were in a good place and needed to be for the plot, it almost made her arc feel wrapped?
