1. Ludger Kresnik dreams in his sleep. 2. He thinks: "Oh boy, I hope this dream about me battling my brother while he warns me isn't a bad omen or anything!" 3. Ludger has woken up. Julius, while petting the family cat Rollo, tells him: "Hey Ludger, my beloved brother, glad to see you up n fresh! Good luck with passing the application as a cool agent at the company I work at, today!" Ludger responds: "aw thanks Julius". 4. Ludger and his double swords are on the floor. The big text above him says "FAILED".
5. Julius wears an empathetic face expression and has a comforting hand on Ludger's shoulder. Julius says: "Oh noo, how'd that happen? Guess you have no choice but to apply to a peaceful cooking job at the train station..." Ludger responds: "ok". 6. Ludger has a motivated smile as he thinks: "Time to make a great impression at the station restaurant! Let's go!" 7. Ludger thinks in narration: "random girl at train station makes railway staff suspicious of me to distract them". Elle is seen pointing at Ludger, yelling: "Get this man, please! I saw him commit crimes!!" (Artist's note: I find the exact thing she accuses him of horrible, so that's the main reason I didn't allude to it here.) A railway staff member looks at Ludger seriously and says: "Sir, please come with me...", while a confused Ludger responds: "Eh?! What?" 8. The staff member pulls Ludger away, but Ludger sees Elle sneaking past the station gates to get on the train. He says: "Huh? Wait!" Rollo the cat is also at the station for some reason, and notices Elle running away.
9. Ludger narrates in his thoughts: "weird feeling when I end up on the train. Gets weirder when I see a guy hijacking it who looks exactly like my brother except he doesn't react to me". Ludger is seen inside the train, worried. He walks up to a person that looks like Julius. Ludger thus asks him: "Julius?" 10. A train accident happens. A cartoonish crash is depicted.
11. Ludger narrates: "I barely survive". Rideaux is seen, giving Ludger a bored look. Rideaux says: "Be grateful that I managed to patch you, the little girl AND the cat up". Ludger replies "Ok". 12. Rideaux lifts his hand and says: "Doctors are expensive. The medical bill is 20 million Gald. Pleasure doing business." Ludger yells out in shock: "TWENTY million?!? All three of us?!!" He narrates: "neck-deep in debt". At the bottom of the comic, my artist's note says: "and that's just the beginning of the game lol. (first 30 minutes or something)".
I once told my bestie @/darkohexar that I want my first art post on here to be the ToX2 "Ludger Kresnik is one of the unluckiest protags ever" explanation comic I made for them 2 years ago... and I went to fetch it on my old laptop today lmao 😭
