I figured something was up ~ I spent over $200 with #TurboTax this year which is nearly quadruple what Iβve spent in previous years. The original fee was $280 but I called and asked them if they were interested in keeping a client theyβve had since 2004β¦ they responded with an $80 discount code.

Hmm. Doing taxes and have found multiple significant problems with this year's desktop version of TurboTax. All of them were reported in early February by other users. None of them have been fixed (yes, I have the most recent update). Grrrr. π

I've gotten the "Hmm, looks like we've hit a snag" error from #TurboTax so many times this year I've lost count. It kept happening even after the "fix" described above. I had to switch from interview to forms mode multiple times to enter data because interview mode is so broken.

Figuring out how to call #Intuit on the phone to get this fixed was a whole other saga. TLDR the phone number is 800-446-8848 in case you need it.
I used their chatbot to get that number. It gave me four different wrong/inapplicable answers before I finally coerced the right answer out of it [β¦]
