More Texas districts adopt four-day school weeks More than 500 schools are using four-day school weeks, a dramatic increase from two years ago driven by fierce competition for educators amid a statewide teacher shortage.

So much of what isn't being said revolves around how teachers are being treated & the workloads we are expected to deal with. Giving me more "jeans days" isn't going to solve that. The issues we are experiencing now are systemic failures that no one wants to acknowledge.
