Ignoring the traffic #police, a UK military caravan drove into large crowds in #Egypt's Ismailiya Square (now #TahrirSquare) on #ThisDayInHistory in 1946, killing one, injuring seven. The crowd attacked the trucks & troops opened fire with machine guns, killing 20 & wounding 300.
