A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction that halts the new policy banning transgender service members from serving in the US military

According to the advocate, the decision states that the policy “violates the constitutional rights of transgender service members, finding that the government failed to provide evidence that banning them serves a legitimate military purpose“
