(Book review) Six Wonderful Couples! This collection of wolf shifter novellas is easy to read. There are a ton of antics and sizzle to go along with a helping of tension and action. Individually, I rated the books between 4 & 4.5 stars. For some of the series, I read along with the audio book. The narrator is Tanya Eby (aka Tatiana Sokolov), who is a joy to listen to. Story: 4-4.5 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x

(Book review) >Avoiding the Unavoidable< This was a wonderful quick listen! I love that it's playful, funny, sexy, and has some tension and misunderstandings. Keri Smith is in a world of trouble when it comes to Jared Gilliland. I love that Jared doesn't immediately pick up on their mate connection. The reason was unexpected but an interesting twist. As for Keri, her reactions and avoidance are almost comedic. -- Book quote Maggie: "Aren't you looking for more than casual sex at some point?" Jared: "No. Never. Like not ever." Miscommunication often drives me bonkers, but it didn't in this case. I found the way things go to be particularly entertaining. I may have laughed aloud from some of the miscues. I listened to this as part of the 'Granite Lake Wolves' audio book collection. The narrator is Tanya Eby, who continues to do a fantastic job! It's not surprising that he manages to step into some serious doggie doodoo with Pam Quinn and his pack, but I give him credit for the efforts. 😄 Make no mistake. His approach is unorthodox, but he gets results. It's silly and steamy. Although, I do miss some of his goofiness that I found so endearing. I had higher hopes for TJ's book. I came into this expecting to love it because he's been such a scene stealer. This may not have met my expectations, but I still like it a lot. (Book review) Bashful Omega I love that Missy Leason and Tad Maxwell have an adolescent crush to draw on and get the ball rolling. How they reconnect is comical, and I like how the prologue is wrapped into the storyline. I love how bashful he is about nudity in a public or even semi-public environment, while she, and pretty much everyone around them, is extremely comfortable in a state of undress. It led to some humorous and possessive moments. -- Book quote “I want forever someday. I believe in true love, and finding my other half. I know it’s romantic bullshit, but I still believe in it.” -- Tad Maxwell I deeply enjoyed getting to know this couple. Seeing more of the pack and how they work as a unit is always fun, too. It's one of the things I love most about Vivian's books. The sense of community is never far away. I listened to this as part of the 'Granite Lake Wolves' audio book collection. No rush.' -- Keil Lynus This is fun, serious, smexy, and occasionally goofy. Watching Robyn come into her own is a treat. I must admit to wanting a sauna like they have at the cabin for myself.
