Two with black thread and one with coloured thread, the ball of thread is standing next to the shuttle. Also a bobbin in light blue with a crochet hook that I only use to join picots. Next to the book is my little project box with a pair of scissors, some balls of thread, a travel bag and a small bowl.

A lace poinsettia flower in Christmas Red, variegated green, brown, and yellow with a small yellow rose in the middle. The green and brown tree motif extends from the flower and is still a work in progress attached to the shuttles.

An in-progress photo of the Christmas Red poinsettia flower before the yellow center helped stitch in the leaves. Rounds 1 (6 petals) and 2 (3 petals) worked separately and laid on top of each other.
