Postally used on 24 December 1919 with Fulham cancellation on red one penny stamps and sent to Mr & Mrs Sibly, Treruffe Terrace, Redruth, Cornwall. Good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but heavy postmark impression showing to front.

The Tay Bridge at Aberfeldy. The image shows a view from a riverbank of a bridge made of honey-coloured stone. It has five arches, with the largest in the centre. The central span is marked by obelisks rising from the bridge parapet. The sky is blue.
A true work of art, the Tay Bridge at Aberfeldy, also known as General Wade's Bridge. Designed by William Adam, it was built in 1733 at a cost of over £4,000 and remains in use by traffic today. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...
