Interesting that Polynesian languages have a single word for both egg 🥚 & fruit 🍊 (e.g. 'hua' in #tereo Māori) compared to Austronesian ones westwards (e.g. 'telur' & 'buah' in Malay).

I wonder how would their speakers write, say, a pavlova recipe (sans loans e.g. 'hēki')... 🤔
