Noooo I'm not bitter. Not at all
🙄 Weather we're we are and we're we should have been sans Covid-19.
Well it's not going to rain... 🥶 #fieldTeaching #teachinginapandemic

Same excursion but different places due to Covid-19. It is challenging to look at landforms, landscapes, vegetation and bedrock in Sweden in March instead of Greece. Courageous students! #teachinginapandemic #earthscience #fieldTeaching #geography #biogeography @Stockholm_Uni

Packing for a week's excursion to Gotland (not Greece 😢). Sun promised but subzero temperatures and gales. It will be COLD.
I took a screenshot of this amazing costume but forgot the tweep who posted it. Thank you!

Can we please make it socially acceptable to snack or paint or knit during lectures when we return to normal? It does not distract at all but it helps to remain relaxed, happy and engaged. #teachinginapandemic

I'm now responsible for the Master program in Landscape Ecology. Setting up home-pages, "lunch"-meetings and implementing ideas to get the student to keep in touch, with me and each other, is rewarding. @Stockholm_Uni @LandscapeSthlm

This is particularly timely since my child just had a tantrum during one of my meetings: #stress #HigherEd #TeachingInAPandemic #TeachingAndLearning

I made this slightly outdated meme to invigorate my students to submit their evals before the deadline on 11/24. I'm hoping it lands like a well-timed dad joke, receives some eye rolls, and gets my response rate up over 80%. #AcademicTwitter #TeachingInAPandemic #Millennial

No students around but teaching takes 120% of my working day (it should be 30%). Research has been put on hold since February and there is no support from the bosses. For me it is really detrimental that all what is fun with this job has gone #teachinginapandemic #sciencetwitter

I guess this is what I would look like with a beard

**images: my portrait with a face shield on, wearing glasses with a black-&-small-white-stars-patterned face mask surrounding clear plastic that reveals only my mouth and lips** #teachinginapandemic

Even though #teaching while wearing a mask all day is awful & uncertainty, fear & panic take center stage, the stray cat at my school is keeping me company during a rainy planning period this Friday. It could be worse. #edutwitter #teachinginapandemic #PositiveVibes

Old, stressed or ... When you realize that the new course book was implemented in your lectures last year and you don't need to do it whilst juggling students, zoom and covid-restrictions #teachinginapandemic

Another glorious day for reconnaissance "Scotland" excursion goes to Sweden. We just did in one day what the students will do in two days @Stockholm_Uni

On our way to prepare field excursion to the archipelago (instead of Scotland) with Sarah Greenwood. Not a day to see large scale geomorphology #teachinginapandemic @Stockholm_Uni @Stockholms_univ

I hope the students understands that we are tying ourselves in knots to prepare teaching safely, because the result is still pretty crap compared to IRL

Zoom reveals stuff you never (well I) would never see in an IRL meetings. "Where did all those grey hair come from? I didn't know they were that many."
Oooops sorry zoomed out - back to the meeting...
Yadda yadda...

Lots of "stuff" to bring to the lecture hall when you combine campus and distance. Easy to forget the tiny USB adaptors. But today went so smoothly 💪 @Stockholm_Uni @LandscapeSthlm #teachinginapandemic #LearningByDoing
