With a capacity of 335 students, this space will help foster student connections and increase access to campus resources.

Great to see the Annual North Natomas Kite Festival spring to life again! This morning, #TeamAshby joined Councilmember Kaplan, Kites for Kids, and the Northlake community for a fun, family-friendly event. Thank you to Kites for Kids for encouraging STEM and creativity in our community.

After school learning never tasted so good! #TeamAshby joined SCUSD Trustee Michael Benjamin at Oakridge Elementary for a hands-on afterschool cooking class, where students whipped up a delicious cactus-and-corn salsa served on a tostada.

#TeamAshby had a great time at the Sacramento County Farm Bureau’s 108th Annual Dinner this evening, talking to farmers and learning about the essential work that they do. We appreciate the opportunity to recognize the important work of our agricultural community.

This week, #TeamAshby was proud to attend the launch of a new weekly food distribution in Elk Grove. This collaboration between Cosumnes CSD, the City of Elk Grove, Al-Misbaah, and the Sacramento Food Bank will help address food insecurity and meet community needs.

#TeamAshby helped pack potatoes & pears at River City Food Bank, supporting their mission that provided healthy food to 327,000+ people in Sacramento County last year!

#TeamAshby had the privilege to visit Waking the Village, located in Downtown Sacramento. They provide essential support for youth and children experiencing homelessness, including shelter, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, outreach, and preschools. We are thankful for all they do!
