It’s just so unnecessary to bash a non-candidate who continues to do so much work for democracy behind the scenes, in order to raise an actual candidate’s profile.
Especially if you’re:
(1) a non-Texan
(2) don’t know what’s going in Texas politics

Jimmy Carter was a devout Christian.
I would never NOT vote for someone based on their faith, but if they use their religious beliefs to subvert the rights of their constituents to worship (or not) as they wish, or if they propose laws based on that ideology- then no.
