Just wanted to clarify that ergot poisoning was discredited decades ago as a Salem theory for the mass hysteria. I’m normally #teamskeptic with Ciarán, but not for this one. Ergot poisoning has pretty much been extinct since the late 19th century, and this case was pre-Brexit 😆

Despite being mostly on #teamskeptic, the supposedly rational and scientific explanations seem more unlikely and unbelievable than the supernatural experience #uncanny

There is absolutely no way the family could have lived at that farm and not known the history with the nun scandal and the orphanage. I think all three generations on hearing the local stories (that were alluded to by Liam's mother) were victims of pareidolia. #teamskeptic
