In 2026—the 250th anniversary of his birth—Moses Williams, a master silhouette artist, will be honored with a PA historical marker.
For too long, only his enslaver, Charles Willson Peale, was remembered.

Been thinking about how in 1976, as part of the Bicentennial Celebration, Pres. Ford did the first Presidential Proclamation to recognize Black History Month. Feels like for the Semiquincentennial next year, it may get revoked, along with other celebrations. #TellTheFullStory
REALITY:
He dug us out, but we’re back in a worse situation than before. The entire Democratic party failed the United States because of their lack of communication with the voting public.
