Meet Patrick the tea plant 🌿 For our #TerraLigo #STEM enrichment project, #SustainabiliTEA, it seemed fitting to take a tea plant along to a school today. The KS3 students immediately decided to name the plant Patrick. They'll be investigating the use of biochar on soil health over the coming weeks.

The KS3 #SustainabiliTEA #STEAM project on the use of #Biochar to enrich soils & store carbon continued this week. There's so little content on #soil in the national curriculum our students are learning knowledge & skills that may be invaluable as food security becomes a growing problem 🌱

We've launched our first school #STEAM project on #NatureBasedSolutions. Inspired by the @ministryofeco.bsky.social curriculum, students explored "What does it take to make a cup of tea?" and discovered it involves far more than a tea bag, kettle, water & milk. 1/3
