[3/3] Ce cadre juridique s’est construit progressivement, depuis le traité de Rome (1957) jusqu’à l’article 349 actuel. La CJUE a renforcé son effet en 2015 (arrêt Mayotte) permettant d’adapter l’ensemble du droit de l’UE aux réalités de ces territoires éloignés. #geography #RUP #territorialcohesion

[2/3] Ce statut permet des dérogations au droit commun de l’UE (TVA, douanes, aides d’État…). Il vise à compenser les contraintes structurelles des RUP pour favoriser leur développement économique et social tout en restant pleinement dans le marché européen. #geography #RUP #territorialcohesion
