M110 Galaxy / M31 The Andromeda Galaxy / M32 Galaxy - telescope processed image. M31 (Andromeda) is our largest neighbor, containing a trillion stars, while its satellites M32 and M110 are dwarf galaxies caught in its massive gravitational pull.

M110 Galaxy / M31 The Andromeda Galaxy / M32 Galaxy - unprocessed image. Compact M32 likely lost its outer stars and globular clusters to M31 during a past collision, while the more distant M110 shows signs of recent star formation in its core.

Now it is the Dwarf Mini’s observation for (from top to bottom) #M110 #Galaxy / #M31 #TheAndromedaGalaxy / #M32 #Galaxy. #dwarflabs #dwarfmini #space #astronomy #amateur

M110 Galaxy / M31 The Andromeda Galaxy / M32 Galaxy - telescope processed image. M31 is the dominant spiral "parent," while M32 and M110 are satellite galaxies trapped by its gravity. These neighbors are slowly being tidal-stripped and will eventually merge with Andromeda.

M110 Galaxy / M31 The Andromeda Galaxy / M32 Galaxy - unprocessed image. Andromeda is moving toward the Milky Way at 110 km/s and will eventually collide with us in about 4.5 billion years to form a giant elliptical galaxy.

Good Saturday morning. Yesterday was a pretty busy morning, so forgot to share the images that were taking that morning. Starting from top to bottom - #M110 #Galaxy / #M31 #TheAndromedaGalaxy / #M32 Galaxy. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

M31 The Andromeda Galaxy - telescope processed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. M31 is approaching the Milky Way at about 300 km/s (186 mi/s), and the two galaxies are expected to collide in approximately 4.5 billion years.

M31 The Andromeda Galaxy - unprocessed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. It is the most distant object that can be seen with the naked eye from Earth in dark skies, appearing as a faint, fuzzy smudge of light.

Apart from the moon, I also set the s50 to observe #M31 #TheAndromedaGalaxy. This is the last image of the evening as conditions are getting worst out there. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

The battery ran out on the Odyssey Pro. Here is what I caught of #M31 #TheAndromedaGalaxy.

M31 The Andromeda Galaxy - telescope processed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. M31, our closest major galactic neighbor at approximately 2.5 million light-years, is the largest member of the Local Group, orbited by over 30 dwarf satellite galaxies like M32 and M110.

M31 The Andromeda Galaxy - unprocessed image with Moon and Sky Light Filter. M32, a dwarf elliptical, has a very dense core and a supermassive black hole, suggesting it's the remnant of a larger spiral galaxy. M110, a dwarf spheroidal, is unusual because it has dust and signs of recent star formation.

Good Tuesday morning. Here are some results from last night. The s50 took the following mosaic with 454 individual 20 second exposures. Here is the latest observation of #M31 #TheAndromedaGalaxy. #M110 is visible at the top of the image while #M32 is to the […]

M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy - telescope processed image. There are about 35 satellite galaxies around M31, including M32 and M110, are mostly dwarf galaxies. They exhibit an unusual planar alignment and co-orbiting motion.

Forgot to share this mosaic image of #M31 - #TheAndromedaGalaxy using the moon and sky light filter. Not sure I seem much improvement for this image from the filter. As you can see some satellites got caught in one of the mosaic images. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur
