Really enjoyed National's new BACCHAE. Billed as a contemporary take on Euripides, it was very in keeping with current NT trend (diverse casting, topical references). It's had mixed reviews, but at 1h 45m with no interval it's a fun bloody Dionysian romp. @nationaltheatre.org.uk #thebacchae
