Présentation niveau débutant sur le thème: Se former à la programmation pendant la thèse (et après) : retour d’expérience sur la construction d’une communauté Carpentry à l’Université de Strasbourg, France.

Noémi Cobolet interviendra lors de la journée LibreABC sur l'implication de l'Université de Strasbourg dans la communauté The Carpentries, avec notamment l'initiation des doctorant-es à la programmation.

Juli 2025 zum Spendenaufruf für The Carpentries Hintergrund: Die Organisation musste im Juni 2025 einen NSF-Förderantrag über 1,5 Mio. USD zurückziehen, obwohl das Projekt zur Förderung empfohlen wurde. Grund war eine neue Richtlinie der NSF, die es geförderten Organisationen untersagt, Programme speziell für unterrepräsentierte Gruppen anzubieten. Dies widerspricht den zentralen Werten von The Carpentries: Inklusion, Diversität, Gerechtigkeit und Zugänglichkeit.
