A larger version of the early Colonel's Bequest cast screen from the previous post, this time from Joystick DE magazine's September 1990 issue. This scan is large enough that you can see the blue background behind the characters is a dithered field of light and dark blue pixels. The magazine also pasted two other screenshots of the game in the blank black areas (featuring Laura in the bathroom of the Colonel's house and Laura getting eaten by an alligator in the swamp) at the bottom left and bottom right corners.

An early image of the Dramatis Personae screen from the intro in The Colonel's Bequest. Instead of a background drawn to look like a stage, all the characters in the upper part of the screen are standing against a solid blue background, with a stylized Art Deco border separating it from the black screen outside. A closeup of Laura Bow appears at the bottom of the screen, but it has a 1960s-style bouffant instead of a 1920s bob.
