Streetartwall. On the outside wall of a three-storey modern building with rows of windows, a mural in the style of old oil paintings was sprayed/painted in homage to the painter James Ensor. In the painting, Ensor is depicted alone, surrounded by grotesque carnival masks that convey a sense of malice and deceit. He is a young man with a full black beard and a striking red hat with feathers and flowers, looking out at the viewer. In contrast to the original painting, the countless masks are in shades of beige and brown and convey an unsettling mood. The painter's face is decorated with a "U" shaped white stripe of clown make-up. (A typical stylistic element of the street artist case).
