This story takes place thirty years after the events of #DoctorWhoβs #TheDalekInvasionofEarth and whilst the planet should be prospering since the Daleks were defeated, the reality is not what one would hope for.
It's amazing that "family show" in 1964 meant that the opening scene features a zombie human committing suicide by drowning and the heroes arrive next to a giant poster saying "IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DUMP BODIES IN THE RIVER". #DoctorWho #TheDalekInvasionOfEarth
