A paperback book - The Garden Against Time, by Olivia Laing. The front cover is already curving away slightly from the book, as I've been avidly consuming it. The cover is white, and illustrated with Dutch-style blowsy flowers- double tulips and the like. The opening edge pf the book is black, with the same floral explosion of fecundity.
