One of the things that I like about #TheGiantBehemoth is the logical buildup to the monster's appearance. Like 1954's "Them", there is a mystery to solve - at first. Only then, does all hell break loose.

By "better" I mean: #TheGiantBehemoth > #Gorgo. While we've had some excellent monster movies over the years, until 2023's "Godzilla: Minus One" no film has threatened to top the original Gojira (1954) IMO.

#TheGiantBehemoth (1959) used to be on late afternoon TV a lot back in the day. I recall it being quite good. Although 1961's "Gorgo" is often described as the UK's Godzilla, I think that this film is much better.
