We spent time this afternoon at Cape Roger’s Beach on #BowenIsland. Thousands of anchovies were in the clear ocean water, driven there by a solitary seal. I took turns holding #theCricket & #theHazelnut up above the water to see them, as chest high waves pummeled me & tiny fish butted my knees.
The remains of tonight’s #spotprawn massacre. Had these dropped on me shortly after 5 PM. Told I was cooking them for dinner. Had them on the table by 5:30. They were a hit with #theHazelnut but not #theCricket. #Peasantking
Busy, stressful weekend, which made racing around @BCFerries with #TheHazelnut, watching a pod of orcas swim by #BowenIsland, all the more special.
