I am saving up my episodes. I have two today and I am staving off watching them until I have more piled up. I will try waiting until Friday—I see patients Tues/weds/thursday. I am rewatching #TheImperialCoroner which is quite rewatchable and one of the better potential siblings to lovers.

Continuing with #TheImperialCoroner only because I like Wang Zi Qi. Fast forwarding only to scenes with him. The SML, the character Jing Yi, makes me realise just how absolutely wonderful #YuShisan / #AlanFeng was in comparison, in #AJourneyToLove. Squad Goals were awesome in that drama I tell you.

I liked Ao Ruipeng in this - he has better chemistry with Li Landi than he had with Bai Lu
You will probably enjoy this drama if you enjoy historical detective dramas - such as #TheImperialCoroner - as it devotes several episodes to each new case
It’s also pretty & very atmospheric

I’m not the biggest fan of the actor Wang Ziqi for sure - but he was ok in a couple of romantic dramas I’ve seen him in, & was perfect in a historical drama called #TheImperialCoroner - so I’m open to him proving to be satisfactory in this role, even if he’s not perfectly cast here

I love #TheImperialCoroner - they’re such a great quartet (OT4 as some would say! 😁) with a few unusual aspects to the characterisations. I’ve never watched #OurBloomingYouth (it came out during my sickest year) but you’ve made a compelling argument in favour. On the list it goes!

Have you tried #UndertheMoonlight? It’s a detective show very similar to #TheImperialCoroner
The fl is great & she works really well with the ml (played by Zhai Zi Lu). There are some eccentric side characters too.

There’s a degree of overlap between this drama and others you may have seen like #MelodyofGoldenAge and #TheImperialCoroner. Basically the fl is a constable with her own backstory and the ml is some kind of imperial investigator with his own backstory. She’s cheerful and ingenious, while he’s aloof
