This morning's adventure in the bad weather reminded me of the very opening of my book #TheKilominator, a version of which was published in the Quarantine Review a few years ago.

My book #TheKilominator (www.kilominator.com) on Good Reads. After a ride like this morning, I remind myself when going up a flight of stairs was a struggle, the horrific loop of terrible eating, boozing, stupid decision upon stupid decision. Feels like yesterday.

As I approach hitting the 90,000 km mark in less than six years of cycling, I look back at one of the first milestones: hitting 10,000 km. This appears in my book #TheKilominator (www.kilominator.com) in a different form. Amazing how the KMs rack up!

Reminds me of an experience I wrote about in my book #TheKilominator where I struggled to cut my overgrown lawn, only to pause and see a tiny frog with spindly legs struggling in the tall grass.
