ここまでさんざん貶した上に追い打ちをかけるようで気が引けるけど、さらに言わせてもらえば前作から約３年半待たせた割に「曲があまり練れていない」という印象が否めない
パッと聞いた感じ刺激的に聴こえても、何回も聴いているとメッキが剝がれるというか、歌メロの弱さが露呈する曲が多い（特に前半）
実際初聴きのときは「もしかしたら最高傑作かもしれない！」と興奮したけど、一か月後には僕の中でも「いまいちなアルバム」という扱いになってしまったし…

全体的な構成は「ダブステップに影響された先鋭的な」前半と、「美メロが光る温故知新な」後半との対比という構成は実は彼らが今までやったことのないアプローチだけど、これが上手くいったかというと微妙
思うに彼らの持ち味は、先鋭的なサウンドがポップな歌メロに乗る構図で発揮されてきたと思うんだけど、敢えて分けてしまったことで結局どっちつかずになってしまった感が否めない
というよりこの構成はもっと長いアルバムでこそ有効なアプローチだと思う。8曲入り37分強ではそれぞれの印象が深まらないままヌルっと流れて言って結局印象薄いだけですよ
