ARC Review: The Library of Lost Girls – Kristen Pipps Gwen Donovan's rebellious and lively older sister Izzy was sent away to the Delphi School for Girls to learn to be a lady, but when she returns years later, she is a shadow of the girl she remembers. Gwen is certainly something happened to Izzy at Delphi and determined to discover the truth, causes a public scene in order to get herself sent there. Delphi is far from the finishing school she expects to find however. Located on a cold and isolated island, the students are warned to stay away from the shadows and never leave their rooms after dark. The rooms are lined with packed bookshelves, but the girls are not permitted to read any of them and the teachers keep making comments about reforming the students by pulling out the evil from them. When Gwen finds a note left for her by Izzy, she begins to uncover the dark secret at the heart of Delphi and in order to survive and remain herself, she must confront the sinister entity that lurks in the shadows.
