When it comes to the Dream Goal I have minor goals up to that point - as I reach £300 in a month I'll be posting some extras (to be decided at the time), as well as putting the price down for the requests. It will be 10% for every minor goal - so up to a maximum of 40% cheaper.

As there are extra chapter goals these will also be included in the requests up to the limit (so, for an example, if you request an Other Arc Chapter at £40 there will be a poll for two extra Main Arc chapters, so you get three chapters for your money).

For the Lockwoods to completely cover my outgoings, and for me to write full time, I'd need 300 readers who loved it enough to pay £5 a month. That's around how much it would cost to buy a book, and the time will come when there'll be multiple books available to read.

I'm fortunate to have never really created a community on either Patreon or Ko-fi. With their support of AI created work I've chosen to change the More Lockwoods page, adding Paypal buttons that mean you can still support me without supporting either of those sites.

Added the random chapter request, with additional chapters possible. This will get you an entirely random new chapter, which will be an extra. You don't get to choose a character, place, or time, but it does help support me writing more, and will add toward the other extra chapters.

I'd love to have some more visitors, to see if I am actually right that my navigation does work exactly how I'd like it to. (Actually getting people going from the main page into the arcs.) Posting for the main arc will begin again around the middle of April.

After a couple of days of work I'm pretty much done with the changes to the Lockwoods. There's still plenty to do, but that all new posts so I can link characters and settings in the chapter pages, and that'll take a bit more time. Readability is where I wanted it to be.

Read more will take you to all the Main Arc Arcs, but each one will lead you to it's specific page, so if you go for The Main Arc: 1814 you'll reach all the chapters specifically for the Main Arc (no extras).

New tags I created for each of the chapters (because I wasn't happy with how they looked so I wanted to make my own). With time they'll all become links, but, for now, just the arcs are links, with characters and setting just information. When there is a next chapter that will show at the bottom, along with a previous if that exists.

Working on the website today, and there are some major changes to the navigation in progress. It can be seen at the link, with there being plenty more to go, but I'm getting there slowly. Nothing quite looked exactly how I wanted it to, so I made my own.

If I had the money I needed for bills there wouldn't be a Ko-fi, and I'd be free to write without stress, which always leads to more writing. Plus I'd be able to do all the little things I wanted to do as extras freely.

I even went back to Anne's first moments. That's still not entirely ironed out, but I understand magic, the birthplace, the worlds, and her existence much better than I did before. Although I might never share it, I struggled so much writing it, it's going to help a lot.

So, it's been first lives, some of the more fascinating alternate universes, and planning out posting. This means I might not be returning to the main arc next week, in part because everything I've written recently helps me to understand everything a little better.

Honestly, this week has been a hard one. It's not really something easy to put into words, but I did turn to comfort writing, which meant I haven't really been completely focused on one thing, choosing instead to what makes me feel the happiest.
