Today's film was #TheMagnificentButcher (1979) by Yeun Woo-Ping. On Criterion. I watched bc I had never heard of the Dir nor the lead, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung. Plus I needed an aesthetics palette cleanse. The martial arts / fight scenes are deceptively complex. All fun & games til the murder scene #nfotd
