We are about a month late on snow here in the High Desert. So far so good with Gemma’s special grass patch. I was hoping for at least one flurry before the dogs and horses and I head south for a spell.

We made the executive decision to remove Gemma’s splint and come today. We passed the point where splint sores were going to cause more issues than risking re-injury. Gemma #TheOtter was SO thrilled, she attacked Cora with love and happiness. Cora loved it?? 👅

We lost two beloved dogs within 6 mos of each other, and recently opened our hearts to two new family members. Cora #Coradorable (our rescued Rez Dog) just loves Gemma #TheOtter (Humane Society adoptee) and Mazie #MissMazie (Retired Breeding Dog). It warms my heart to see Cora enjoy her new pack.
